Notice from our Nurses - COVID

The School Health Clinic will continue to operate under the Waitemata District Health Board advice and government protocols, to maintain safety for our students and staff.

Kia ora,

With the recent occurrence of Covid Community cases, in Melbourne, we remind you that students must not come to school if they have any of the following symptoms:

  • Cough
  • Runny nose
  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath

Please seek advice/assessment from your GP or COVID Healthline on 0800 358 5453 (24/7) if you or anyone in your household has any of these symptoms.

Parents/caregivers will be contacted as a matter of urgency if their child develops any of these symptoms during the school day, and the student must be collected from school as soon as possible and assessed by their GP or by calling the COVID Healthline number above.

There will be no facility for students who have any of these symptoms to remain at school.

Could all parents/caregivers please notify the school attendance office of any absence, as early in the day as possible.

Stay well from Ruth, Jeanette and Rachel (Massey High School Nurses)
