Mathex Competition
On Wednesday 24 August Mr Watkins took two Year 9 teams and a Year 10 team to the annual Mathex competition. Mathex is a challenging and fast-paced mathematics contest where schools from across Auckland compete against each other in teams to answer questions as quickly as possible - https://www.aucklandmaths.org.nz/mathex
The full result list is yet to be released however, amongst hundreds of teams, from Auckland schools, our teams did well scoring 65, 70 and 45, which put them in the top half or top third.
