$2,000 one-off payment for ASB personal and business customers hardest hit by recent weather events.

Personal customers eligibility criteria

Customers whose homes have been red or yellow stickered following the recent extreme weather events resulting from states of emergency from flooding or Cyclone Gabrielle.

  • Your home has been red or yellow stickered as a result of the recent flooding.
  • The address of the home that has been red or yellow stickered is the same address that ASB had on file for you as of Friday 27 January 2023 due to the Auckland Anniversary weekend flooding, or Sunday 12 February 2023 due to Cyclone Gabrielle.
  • You had an active banking relationship with ASB on Friday 27 January 2023.

Applications need to be received by 31 March 2023.

Business customers eligibility criteria

Customers whose business has suffered significant operational impact as a result of recent extreme weather events resulting from states of emergency from flooding or Cyclone Gabrielle.

  • Your main business account must be with ASB.
  • Evidence that your business has suffered significant operational impact as a result of the Auckland Anniversary weekend flooding or Cyclone Gabrielle, such as damage to stock, property or equipment.
  • Your business has a turnover of less than $2 million per year.
  • Your business is based in a region where a state of emergency was declared.

The offer is capped at $3m across all personal and business customers.
