This week, Deputy Head Prefects, Troy Vujnovich and Keisha Tautari, introduce themselves and their goals.

Troy Vujnovich

My goals for Year 13 are to achieve excellence endorsed overall for NCEA Level 3 and excellence endorsement for business and economics as I am looking to study business at university.  I also wish to help and mentor the younger years in our school and help them grow into the next leaders of the school. A highlight of my term has been helping the new Year 9 students to get settled into the school and getting to know many of them.  This was a huge privilege getting to spend time with our new students and showing them everything that Massey has to offer.  Having the opportunity to show them around and helping them get settled was a lot of fun. This year I am very excited to work along side our amazing prefect team.  We have all known each other for many years and now we get to collaborate and work on events and projects around Massey.  I am very excited to hear all the visions and ideas from our whole prefect team and help turn them into reality.

Keisha Tautari

My goals for this year are to pass NCEA Level 3 with an excellence endorsement and to get accepted into Te Wānanga Takiura. My highlight for this term is going to Polyfest to enjoy the diversity within our kura and also in our region. Something that I look forward to being a part of this year is our Kapa Haka at kura.  I am excited to share my Māoritanga with our community.
