HairBears

Congratulations to HairBears, a group of nine Year 13 Business Studies students participating in the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme this year (YES).

Recently they won YES Challenge One - Validation for the West Region. In Challenge One they had to GOOB (Get out of the Building) to validate their product. They headed down to the Dean Greenwood swim school to gain some feedback and promote their product.

This is a fantastic achievement as the programme is participated in by the majority of schools throughout West Auckland. They gratefully received a $50 Torpedo 7 Voucher for this award and will be recognised at the end of year Young Enterprise Award Night.

Also one of their CEO’s Breanna Lethbridge, has been selected to travel to Wellington to represent the West Auckland YES region at the 2023 Entrepreneurs in Action weekend. Entrepreneurs in Action kicks off on Thursday 29th June, when 60 students from across the country will travel to Wellington to participate in three days of business activities. We are extremely proud of Breanna’s achievement in being selected for this event.

HairBears is an eco-friendly shampoo bar available in 4 different scents and colours. Their mission is to create a positive hair washing experience while also promoting sustainability.
