Advance Notice - Early Closure

The secondary school teachers' collective contract expires this year and therefore a Paid Union Meeting is required for members of the Post Primary Teachers' Association to begin determining the details of our next contract. The vast majority of teaching staff at Massey High belong to the PPTA.
In consultation with the principal, we have selected the afternoon of Tuesday 27 June for our meeting. Classes will run for most of the day. We will close for instruction at 12.00pm.
Students who are unable to leave the school grounds until the normal end of the school day will be supervised on site by non-union teachers.
