End of year Arrangements for Seniors

With only a few weeks to go until the end of the school year for our senior students, we’d like to take some time to let you know the end of year arrangements.

For Year 11, 12 and 13 students who are on track to gain their qualifications, their last day in class will be Tuesday 31 October, after which they are on study leave for the NCEA exams starting Monday 6 November.  Students will be dismissed throughout the day to begin this study leave.

There are a few students at this stage who would benefit from some additional support to gain their qualifications. For these students we will be in contact in the next few weeks to advise of further arrangements to ensure that the students are able to gain the best results out of this year.  This support is likely to involve some extra support starting Wednesday 1st November in school to ensure students have completed any outstanding assessments and to offer other support as required.

If there are any students who are concerned about their achievement at this stage, their best first points of contact are either their Tutors or Ākina leaders.
