Massey High School acknowledges the loss of a valued member of our wider community. Janette was a huge supporter of our school and our students, devoting countless hours of her time to both netball and basketball. She was recognised for this contribution in 2016 when she was awarded the Susan Porter Parent Award by the Board of Trustees.

Sadly, Janette passed away earlier this week, losing her 10 year battle with end stage liver disease.

Harrison Sanders, a long-time friend of the family (and alumnus of Massey High School) has set up an appeal to provide some assistance for Janette’s four children at this difficult time. 

Janette will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
