Academy Students get Financial Planning Advice
On Thursday 11th August, Max and Becky from the Westpac Money Makes Sense Team came to MHS with their interactive workshops. The Westpac Money Makes Sense Team works with a range of organisations such as schools, employers, and community groups to deliver effective money management skills for their people.
Max and Becky guided our students and made them feel more confident about making decisions about money. The workshops covered a whole range of topics including:
- spending plans and budgeting
- saving goals and plan
- making your money go further
- banking
- insurance.
On the day, our Construction, Automotive, Hospitality and Early Childhood Education academy students were able to participate and really enjoyed the activities.
