Farewell to Ilai Mataraki
Rest in Peace.
Recently, we mourned the tragic passing of one of our carpentry teachers, Mr Mataraki.
Mr Mataraki was a much loved member of staff who taught at Massey High for the last two and a half years. He was an outstanding subject teacher, tutor class teacher and coach of the Under 14 rugby team making a hugely positive impact through his humble and caring nature.
Some of the Massey High School staff and students were blessed to have an opportunity to farewell Mr Mataraki, which included a moving haka from the 1st XV - this can be viewed below.
