Gateway 2022
This year Massey High School have 50 Gateway students (Year 12 and 13) who have to gain a minimum of 20 credits plus complete a work placement, (funded by TEC).
Currently we have a number of students out on their work placements and more completing their work experience or credit courses in the school holidays.
We would like to highlight the success so far of some of our students;
8 students in the Redshirts Programme at The Warehouse, Westgate, and 4 students in the Blueshirts Programme at Warehouse Stationery, Westgate, have impressed the Managers and staff with their work ethic and manner.
The Manager at The Warehouse has said “It has been the best group of students he has ever had” and has offered all the students extra work (paid)! – Jordan Erstich, Wiremu King, Norman Pasefia, Chance Matthews, Nikita Manu, Max Browne, Jeremy Regino and Foe Sefo
The staff at Warehouse Stationery are also very happy and recommended to the Manager to hire the students who are currently on work placement. – Jessica Stevenson, Nina Pearce. Kyra-Lee Daniels and Tegan Irving
