Tech and Paperless Week

Kia Ora e te whānau,

Next week Massey High School will be showcasing and providing an array of opportunities for our ākonga in support of Tech Week in Aotearoa New Zealand. These range in technology exhibitions and career seminars to promote pathways in technology.

We are also promoting a ‘paperless’ environment for the week, where many classes will not be utilising books, and where we will be encouraging all learners to bring their devices to school. This will promote a ‘greener’ environment, and promote interactive learning spaces that will support teachers with driving their innovative lessons during the week.

Please support us by encouraging your tamariki to bring their devices in all week, Monday 16 May – Friday 20 May.

Other activities and events are:

  • Exhibitions by Drone Tech, Tesla and Evolocity Bikes
  • Student competitions on technology and coding
  • Career presentations from Google, Microsoft, Techtorium and Massey University’s Technology Road Show
