Last week saw the award of six blue ties in recognition of outstanding academic achievement. This award is presented mid-way through the year and also to the top and runner up student of each year group at our prize giving ceremony held at the end of the year. 

This week we were able to acknowledge another Year 12 student in the Mātauranga House assembly. 

Kai Jenks, 12MAO, was overseas visiting family when the Blue Tie assembly took place, so we made sure to recognise him during his house assembly instead. This was also a great opportunity for our Y9 students to see academic excellence being rewarded and is something for them to start working towards. Congratulations Kai!
