A Wonderful Turnout: Welcoming Hundreds of Future Students to Massey High

On Tuesday, 16 June, Massey High School held its annual Open Night. It was wonderful to welcome hundreds of prospective students and their families to our 4.00pm and 6.00pm sessions in the Bruce Ritchie Performing Arts Centre. 

The evening began with a vibrant performance from our talented Kapa Haka group, who provided a warm and memorable welcome for our visitors. Families were then assigned to tour groups led by our outstanding Prefects and Year 12 student guides. 

During the tours, visitors explored seven key areas of the school, learning about the many opportunities available at Massey High School. These included our Academies, Technology, Science, Physical Education, Music and the Arts, the Library showcasing our core learning areas, and our Faculty Māori. Families were also welcome to ‘hop off” their tour group and spend additional time exploring any area of particular interest. 

The evening was a fantastic opportunity for families to experience our school community firsthand, meet staff and students, and discover all that Massey High School has to offer.
