Equestrian Success at North Island Secondary School Nationals
A huge congratulations to our equestrian team, who represented Massey High School at the North Island Secondary School Nationals during Winter Tournament Week.
Equestrian is a sport that takes an incredible amount of dedication, commitment and hard work behind the scenes, and our students have put in the effort to compete at this level. We are also incredibly grateful to the parents and whānau who make these opportunities possible, from the countless hours of preparation and training to getting our students and their horses to competitions.
Our riders produced some fantastic results throughout the week:
Molly Buckingham
- 1st – Show Hunter 80cm
- 6th – Arena Eventing 65cm
- 8th – Dressage
Ruby McCann
- 2nd – Show Hunter 60cm
- 9th – Dressage
Mila Bruce
- 6th – Combined Training (CTR)
- 9th – Arena Eventing 80cm
Millie Francis produced some lovely jumping rounds throughout the week. While she just missed out on the placings, she was an incredible teammate, consistently encouraging and supporting the other girls and celebrating their successes.
These results are a fantastic reflection of the commitment and determination of our students, both in competition and behind the scenes.
