We are thrilled to celebrate Elisabetta Tamburini, 10KVS, who has been named the Girlboss 2026 Emerging Leader Award winner!
With an acceptance rate of less than 2%, this is an incredibly competitive national award, recognising young people who are making a meaningful difference in their communities.
Elisabetta was recognised for her outstanding community leadership through the Kumeu Kids Market, an initiative she founded when she was just 10 years old. The market gives children the opportunity to step into the world of entrepreneurship, develop their own business ideas, and experience what it is like to become a young business owner.
But Elisabetta's vision goes beyond entrepreneurship. The Kumeu Kids Market also supports the New Zealand Child Cancer Foundation, and over the past four years, Elisabetta has raised more than $2,500 for the charity.
From launching a market at just 10 years old to being recognised on a national stage, Elisabetta is showing what young people can achieve when they turn an idea into action.
Congratulations, Elisabetta — what an incredible achievement!
