We wish to advise our school community of upcoming roadworks near Massey High School that may cause some disruption to traffic flow and reduce roadside parking availability.

Universal Communications Group (UCG), working on behalf of Chorus, will be carrying out fibre upgrade works along Don Buck Road, near the school.

Proposed Work Dates: 28 October – 24 November 2026
Estimated Duration: 5 days within this period

Proposed Working Hours:

• School Days: 10.00am – 3.00pm

• Non-School Weekdays: 10.00am – 4.00pm

• Weekends: 8.00am – 5.00pm

During these works, temporary traffic management will be in place, which may include lane restrictions, reduced roadside parking and some delays for motorists travelling through the area.

Traffic controllers, safety signage and barriers will be in place to help ensure the safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles. Access to the school and surrounding properties will be maintained throughout the works.

We encourage parents and caregivers to be mindful of these works, particularly when dropping off or collecting students, and to allow extra time when travelling through the area if necessary.

The contractors will work to minimise disruption to our school community wherever possible.
